​Temporary Cruising Zone is a private, members only, trans focused, all-gender queer sex party based in Birmingham, UK. It's a space for the perverts and the misfits to come and live out their fantasies, meet new friends and lovers and be who they really are in a welcoming, pressure-free environment.

Temporary Cruising Zone comes in two forms:

THE PARTY. Come to fuck or fuck off!* THE PARTY is the original format TCZ. A kink-friendly sex party with music, performance and queer porn in a large, fully equipped sex venue which includes a dancefloor with poles, a designated cruising area, orgy rooms, two dungeons, a variety of BDSM equipment, private rooms, glory holes, “fuck boxes” and a jacuzzi. Anything goes as long as you aren’t breaking the House Rules. The vibe is sexy, messy and hedonistic. *you can also just come to socialise and dance.
A traffic light wristband system is in use at THE PARTY: Green = DTF. Direct play requests with minimal chat welcome. Yellow = Open to chat. Open to play with the right person. Red = Not here to play. Do not approach. I may approach you if I feel comfortable.
THE PARTY is stewarded and has designated a Accessibility Lead and a BIPOC Wellbeing Lead.
Cost: Pay What You Can sliding scale of £15 / £20 / £25. Free for BIPOC members whenever needed by saying the password “play” to me on the door.
Method: Pay On The Door only.
Time: 2pm – 8pm.

SPA + PLAY. SPA + PLAY parties put emphasis on the social just as much as the sexual. These parties take place in a smaller venue with a pub and spa area (complete with a huge hot tub, infra red sauna and steam room) for socialising, a cinema showing queer porn and documentaries and a group play room and small dungeon for play. Unlike THE PARTY, watersports and needle play aren’t allowed. The vibe is chilled, intimate and sensual.
Cost: £10 for BIPOC members, £20 for everyone else.
Method: Pre-booking via Outsavvy link is essential. The link is posted to Discord first and then emailed.
Time: 2pm – 8pm.

Sobriety is encouraged at both of our parties. Condoms (latex), lube and gloves (nitrile) are provided but you can also bring your own. You’re welcome to bring your own toys, equipment and safety kit (i.e. for needle play) but please leave your attitude and cliques at the door.
Dresscode: Whatever you feel sexy in. High effort or no effort. Creativity is encouraged if you can be arsed. Leather, latex, sportswear, babydolls, bikinis, full nudity, your Sunday best, pyjamas… Strictly no shit fancy dress or military or police uniforms.

Accessibility: Regrettably, neither venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
THE PARTY accessibility:
There is step-free access to the venue via a gate which stewards can open for you upon arrival. The venue provides a ramp which will enable access to the downstairs play rooms and first dungeon. However: There are no disabled or Changing Places toilets in the venue and every toilet has one step up to it. Steps throughout the venue are as follows:
• 5 steps up from the reception
• 11 steps down to the dancefloor
• 1 step up to the main dancefloor
• 2 steps down to the play rooms and first dungeon
• 12 steep and narrow steps (which can also become slippy) down to the wet area, jacuzzi and second dungeon
• 2 big steps up to the jacuzzi
• 1 step into each individual shower
• 14 steep and narrow steps up to the Cruising Area
• All stairs have handrails. Stewards are available to assist people where possible
• The beds for the bottoms in the fuck boxes are on a raised platform
• Many of the play areas are dimly lit or completely dark
• Music on the dancefloor will be loud but play areas and the smoking area are either quiet or without music. Ear defenders and ear plugs will be available
• Standard disco lighting (moving colours) is used on the dancefloor. No strobing is used

SPA + PLAY accessibility:
• The entrance to the pub has one small step up to it. The doors may not be big enough for all wheelchairs
• There are step-free toilets but the corridors are narrow
• The route to the spa area may not be wide enough for a wheelchair
• There is a small set of stairs up to the hot tub
• The sauna and steam rooms are step free
• There is one small step down into the cinema area
• There are 18 steps up to the sun terrace / smoking area
• There are 13 extremely steep steps down to the playroom

TCZ is currently unfunded and relies on a 50/50 door split and donations. You can donate via Ko-Fi.

TCZ was created by brutalisturinal in 2017, born out of a research project concerning trans and non-binary experiences of cruising, public sex and sex spaces. The first parties were intimate and held in private flats and art spaces before moving online during the Covid lockdown and then settling in its current home in November 2021. TCZ is still very much a living research project as well as being a dirty queer sex party.
